About The Role
The Time & Labor Data Analyst is a dual role - you will be responsible for auditing timekeeping and payroll data, and designing/maintaining informative dashboards and reports that enable data-driven decision-making across the organization.

Your Responsibilities

Payroll & Timekeeping

  • Develop automated protocols to validate the accuracy of shift premiums and payroll calculations
  • Utilize protocols for calculating retro pay based on timekeeping records
  • Collaborate with Workforce Technology Implementation Manager to visualize incoming clients' pay rules for approval
  • Partner with Client Engagement to model and document proposed shift premium or payroll calculation rules

Time Off Accruals

  • Create parallel calculation methodology to predict time off balances accurately
  • Develop visualizations of accrual policies for client signoff
  • Conduct audit calculations as needed to validate balances

Implementation Data Mining

  • Generate reports in clients' existing HRIS platform for historical data download
  • Validate incoming clients' data census/setup against clients' HRIS and flag variances for review

Dashboards Design & Maintenance

  • Create visually engaging, user-friendly dashboards reflecting key business metrics
  • Regularly update dashboards to ensure they reflect the most current data

Reporting

  • Develop and deliver regular reports on business performance and key metrics
  • Automate reporting processes for improved efficiency and accuracy

Data Interpretation

  • Interpret data to identify significant trends and insights relevant to business objectives
  • Present complex data clearly, concisely, and actionable for stakeholders at all levels

Collaboration & Feedback Integration

  • Work closely with departmental teams to understand reporting needs and preferences
  • Seek continuous feedback to enhance the effectiveness and usability of reports and dashboards

Training & Support

  • Provide training and support to team members and stakeholders on interpreting and utilizing dashboard data
  • Develop user guides and documentation for dashboard and report usage

Projects & Special Requests

  • Partner with the team to manage, prioritize, and execute project plans
  • Identify, communicate, and mitigate project risks
  • Present creative solutions and manage module-specific HRIS implementation projects

This Role is a Good Fit if You

  • Have a bachelor's degree in data science or related field, preferred
  • Possess 5+ years of experience in HRIS' (Human Resources Information Systems), UKG Ready preferred
  • Possess expert-level timekeeping calculation experience
  • Have proven audit/development experience with BI or Access, preferred
  • Are proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

The salary range for this role is $75,000-$85,000. Actual compensation packages within that range are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth and years of experience, certifications, and specific location.
