How you will make an impact:

The Lutheran Home is seeking a dedicated and dynamic Business Development Liaison to drive growth and strengthen relationships within the community. This role is pivotal in conducting targeted sales efforts to attract prospects across all levels of care, with the goal of exceeding occupancy and census targets while ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction.

The Business Development Liaison will play a key role in identifying opportunities to build partnerships with professional referral sources, enhancing the community’s visibility and reputation. By fostering collaboration and expanding our network, the liaison will contribute to the sustained success and appeal of the Lutheran Home.

This position focuses on increasing census and occupancy through strategic networking and business development efforts.

Schedule Varies: This is a full-time position Monday-Friday. Evenings, holidays, and weekends may be necessary at times. 

What you will need:

  • Bachelor's Degree or a minimum of 4 years sales sales-related experience (required)
  • 1 year experience in developing referral sources (i.e. physician groups, hospitals, outpatient clinics, home health, elder law attorneys, etc.) (required) 
  • 2 years of experience required in marketing to hospitals for skilled nursing facilities (required)
  • Strong background in planning and executing professional events, such as continuing education (CE) programs and networking events (preferred) 
  • Experience creating relationships with hospitals (required)
